THE SO CALLED WINDOWS 8.1 PREVIEW HAS ARRIVED

On June 26 we got Windows 8.1  and the news were  not very amusing the promised changes are not there. This is not a major update as we were expecting. The start button only takes us to the metro tiles and not the classic menu as we all wanted. We do have to recognized there has been improvement in browsing secured sites and flash compatibility is better. Tablets are still reporting problems with compatibility and browsing. We still need the help of third party applications to make the interface quicker or at least all our navigation through the apps much more healthier. Classic Shell does a great job to make it speedy. We hope microsoft does listen to the public and not just act like a dictator to force us to take whatever they think is right. The desktop does not seem to go away if there are not real improvement on whatever upgrades they decide to promote. There are improvement in resources to use new technologies but as always any average consumer its interested in speed and simplicity. Microsoft in its interest to unify mobile, desktop and tablet interfaces as Mac, what is doing is complicating things. When the desktop interface had reach a great point of performance they decided to come up with something different. Its the never ending story with Microsoft.
